🌌 How Entropy Can Be the Foundation of Reality: A Primer for Our Understanding of Obidi’s Theory of Entropicity (ToE)

To understand how entropy can serve as the absolute foundation of reality in accordance with Obidi's ToE, you have to abandon an old way of thinking and shift away from treating entropy as merely “a measure of messiness or disorder.”

Obidi recasts entropy in an entirely new light.

In what follows, we present how Obidi helps us understand that entropy indeed constructs reality from the ground up.

πŸ”Ή 1. Entropy Controls “Distinguishability”

Before you can have space, matter, or particles, you must have the ability to tell one point apart from another. If everything is identical and unified, nothing exists.

- Entropy Gradient — Entropy is what creates differences, boundaries, and variations.

- Blueprint — Obidi posits that an entropy gradient creates information (the realization that Point A is different from Point B).

- Result — Without entropy, there is absolute uniformity—meaning zero information and zero physical structure. Therefore, entropy is the prerequisite for anything to exist.

πŸŒ€ 2. Spacetime Is “Emergent,” Not Fundamental

In classical physics (like Einstein’s General Relativity), spacetime is a smooth, fundamental fabric, and entropy is just something that happens inside of it. ToE flips this entirely.

- Macro‑Shadow — Spacetime is not a physical fabric. It is a large‑scale statistical illusion—a “macro‑shadow”—generated by microscopic entropic interactions.

- Analogy — Think of temperature. A single atom does not have a “temperature”; temperature only emerges when you look at trillions of moving atoms. Similarly, a single point does not have “space” or “time”; spacetime only emerges when you look at the macro‑level behavior of the fundamental entropic field.

🌍 3. Gravity Is an Entropic Force

If spacetime is an illusion generated by entropy, then gravity must be too.

- Objects don’t attract each other because of a mysterious gravitational pull.

- Instead, matter naturally moves toward areas of higher entropy because nature inherently seeks to maximize statistical probabilities.

- What we perceive as the “bending of spacetime” or “gravitational pull” is actually matter sliding down an information‑geometric gradient toward higher entropy.

πŸ”Ί 4. The Inverted Hierarchy

To accept entropy as the foundation, you must view the universe through Obidi’s inverted causal chain:

1. Entropic Field (S) —The primary, underlying substrate of reality.

2. Information (I) —The distinctions and gradients allowed by that field.

3. Spacetime Geometry (G) —The macroscopic ordering of those distinctions.

4. Matter and Energy (M) — The localized, dense concentrations within that geometry.

⭐ Summary

Obidi teaches us that entropy can be the foundation of nature and physical reality because space and time are not empty stages where physics happens—they are the dynamic side‑effects of entropy processing information.
