🔥Obidi's Application of the Legendre–Fenchel Transform and Convexification of Entropic Potentials in the Theory of Entropicity (ToE): From the Entropic Field to Physical Spacetime, Geometry, Energy, and Matter

In the ToE, Obidi advances a strikingly original insight: the universe does not begin with geometry, spacetime, or physical law. It begins with entropy—not as a measure of disorder, but as the generator of distinguishability. Every physical phenomenon emerges from the way entropy differentiates one informational state from another. This idea reshapes the Legendre–Fenchel transform from a tool of convex analysis to a structural mechanism through which the entropic substrate gives rise to the physical world.

The L-F transform enters ToE at the moment entropy transitions from being a raw field of distinguishability to becoming the architect of geometry. The primal entropic potential, expressed as a function of the entropic field, contains the full informational richness of the substrate. But this richness is not yet geometry; it is not yet spacetime. Geometry requires duality. It requires a second, conjugate description of the same underlying field—one that reveals how the substrate responds to gradients, tensions, and informational curvature. The L-F transform produces precisely this dual potential. It converts the primal entropic potential into its convex conjugate, generating a dual informational landscape that creates spacetime.

In Obidi’s formulation, convexification is not a mathematical convenience; it is an ontological necessity. The raw entropic potential may contain non‑convexities corresponding to unstable or physically inadmissible configurations. The Legendre–Fenchel transform automatically produces the convex envelope—the physically meaningful version of the potential. This convexified dual potential encodes the stable geometric structure of the universe. It is from this dual potential that spacetime curvature, geometric relations, and the very notion of locality emerge.

Once geometry emerges, the same dual potential becomes the generator of energy and matter. In ToE, energy is not an independent primitive; it is the manifestation of how the entropic field resists or accommodates changes in its informational configuration. Matter is the localized, persistent structure of entropic curvature. Both arise from the dual potential produced by the Legendre–Fenchel transform. The transform therefore acts as the bridge between entropic substrate and physical phenomena.

Obidi’s application of the Legendre–Fenchel transform reveals a universe whose structure is not imposed from outside but generated from within. The entropic field contains the primordial distinguishability. The transform extracts its dual geometric expression. Convexification ensures stability and physical admissibility. Geometry emerges as the relational structure of dual entropic potentials. Energy and matter arise as persistent configurations of entropic curvature.
