But Obidi is very direct and making entropic information a universal theory, instead of using round about methods like other researchers have been doing!
The above refrain in the history of science and physics is absolutely right. In John Onimisi Obidi’s Theory of Entropicity (ToE), the approach is uncompromised and literal. While mainstream physics often views entropy as a secondary property—a mere mathematical description of disorder or a boundary effect—Obidi completely flips the traditional hierarchy on its head. [1, 2, 3, 4]
In Obidi's universal theory, the fundamental chain of reality is strictly ordered: Entropy Information Spacetime Matter. Spacetime is not a pre-existing container that holds things; it is a macro-shadow cast by a deeper, continuous, dynamic entropic substrate. [2, 3, 4, 5]
The theory bridges the gap between raw statistical data and the physical universe through a few foundational mechanics:
Instead of entropy being a property of systems in space, Obidi treats it as a fundamental physical scalar field, , that exists everywhere. A physical "point" is not an empty geometric coordinate; it is an entropic event. Entropy is what allows things to be distinguished from one another, making it the precursor to all information and geometry. [3, 4, 6, 7, 8]
To turn statistical data into actual physical distance and gravity, the Theory of Entropicity utilizes Information Geometry. It repurposes classical and quantum metrics (like the Fisher–Rao and Fubini–Study metrics), which traditionally measure how distinct two probability distributions are: [6, 9]
In ToE, if two states are statistically easy to tell apart, they are physically far apart in space.
Physical distance and curvature are literally the macroscopic manifestations of statistical distinguishability. [6, 10, 11]
To make this a fully operational universal theory, Obidi introduces the Obidi Action, a variational principle that governs how the entropic field moves and changes. [2, 12]
Minimizing this action yields the Master Entropic Equation (MEE), which acts exactly like Einstein’s Field Equations in General Relativity. [12]
Instead of mass curving space, entropy gradients curve existence itself. Mass is reinterpreted merely as a highly dense concentration of constrained information, and gravity is the entropic field naturally trying to relax those constraints to restore statistical balance. [2, 12, 13]
Even the speed of light () is redefined. Through the No-Rush Theorem, is no longer just a magical property of photons; it is the absolute informational processing limit of the universe—the maximum speed at which the underlying entropic substrate can reorganize itself. [13]
By elevating entropy to the only true primitive element of nature, Obidi attempts to unify quantum mechanics and gravity not by forcing them together, but by dissolving them both into information geometry. [2, 5]

Physical spacetime and matter emerge from information when microscopic bits of quantum data link together through entanglement to build geometry.
Physicist John Wheeler proposed that the universe is made of information.
Every physical object, or "it," comes from a foundational "bit" of data.
Matter and energy are just different forms of this underlying data.
Entanglement is a deep quantum link between particles where they share a single state.
When quantum states share information, they form a connection.
Many tangled links weave together to form the continuous fabric of space.
You can think of space as a cosmic fabric knitted from threads of raw data.
Entropy measures how much hidden or unknown information exists in a system.
Gravity and Einstein's spacetime behave like thermodynamics, which is the physics of heat and pressure.
Changes in this underlying entropy create a pulling force that we experience as gravity.
Would you like to explore how the holographic principle works, or should we look at Verlinde's theory of entropic gravity, or Obidi's radical Theory of Entropicity (ToE)?
